Snail Adhesive Changes

Do you buy Stampin' Up!s SNAIL Adhesive? If so, this note is to let you know about a change that's coming.

Stampin' Up! will be switching the type of liner used in their SNAIL Adhesive. The new liner will be tinted blue and it'll be thinner than the previous liner, making the roll appear to have less adhesive.

Rest assured that you're still getting the same amount of adhesive; the only change is the liner itself due to the supplier no longer carrying the current one.

If you haven't tried SNAIL Adhesive before you should.  Why?  Because you get 472" of this permanent double-sided strong bond adhesive in every SNAIL Adhesive cartridge.  It's great for cards, scrapbooks and other art projectsSNAIL applies a controlled amount of adhesive directly to your project, so both your hands and work area never get sticky. You only need a small amount to create a strong bond, so your cartridge lasts a long time. You can also order refills that slip right into the cartridge case, so you’ll never find yourself without your SNAIL. I know you’ll love this adhesive, and it’s a great price, too! Reason To Smile

I love promotions, especially ones like this.  During the month of July you can purchase the Reason to Smile Stamp set for just $5.00 when you spend just $60.00 on Stampin' Up! products.

The Reason to Smile stamp set is exclusive to this promotion and will not be available after July 31, 2012.

Whether you order online, at a workshop or through me directly, you can take advantage of this special offer.  The only restriction is that there's a limit of one (1) set per customer.

Note:  When you're placing your order online, you won't be automatically prompted to enter the $5 Item Number for a qualifying purchase.  The best way to ensure you get this promotion is to enter one of the codes below when your order reaches $60.00 (before S&H and sales tax) to qualify.

Wood Mount 131274  $5.00
Clear Mount  131275  $5.00

If you're placing your order directly through me or at a workshop, no worries.  I'll ask you if you're interested in taking advantage of this offer, and if you are it'll be added to your order in the choice of setting (wood/clear mount) that you'd prefer.

To see the stamps included in this great value just click on the July Promotion button on my sidebar or on the Reason to Smile link in the first paragraph of this note.  Happy Stamping!

ScrapSketch30 Challenge Using My Digital Studio

In case you haven't heard, May is National Scrapbooking Month, and this upcoming Saturday, May 7th is National Scrapbooking Day. Whoo Hoo!!  So in honour of this special month, I thought I would take advantage of what some of the very talented Stampin' Up Demonstrators who are experienced scrapbookers are doing with My Digital Studio. One of those great scrapbooking gals is Alesha Walls a certified instructor for "My Digital Studio". This month Alesha is issuing a challenge on her blog to get out there and scrapbook.  She'll be adding a new scrapbooking sketch every day.  I decided tojump right in and try my hand at her ScrapSketch30 Challenge and show you how easy it is to create a scrapbook page. Here is Alesha's sketch.

And here is my rendition of it. What do you think?  It took me less than half an hour to complete this sketch, and thanks to Alesha's great instructions on how to add a picture to a punched image, I was able to insert my pictures into the two punched hearts.
Laura and mom Kim at their recent recital.  She looks so sweet in her little white Tutu!
If you would like to learn more about My Digital Studio just visit my Stampin' Up! web page and check out this flyer. There is so much that you can do with this product, and I would be happy to share my experiences in using it with you.  Also don't miss Stampin' Ups! National Scrapbooking Promotion to take advantage of all the great savings on products and on becoming a demonstrator during this promotion.
