Pretty in Pink - Sketch by FMS#674

I haven't been able to participate in a Freshly Made Sketch for a week or so but I'm feeling up for a sketch challenge today to get my mojo back on track.  Here's Jen's FMS#674 for inspiration.  The sketch challenge closes on Monday February 17th:

Here's My Card:
I recently purchased Stampin' Up!s Delightful Wishes  bundle because I liked the mix of dies and stamps.  In particular I really liked the "wishing" die and the shadow die which are easy to use.  I like stacking the die cuts to create an elevated sentiment. Tip:  when die cutting thin words like "wishing" try backing your cardstock with an adhesive paper to make it easier to mount once it's cut.

I also like the five corresponding sentiment stamps which are perfect companion stamps for most occasions.  Because they are line stamps it's very easy to cut the words apart, or emboss them for a different look.  See this previous post for an example.

I decided to flip this FMS sketch on it's side and replicate the beautiful curve with an intricate die from the retired Elegant Borders die set.

Before using the die on this Pink Pirouette mat I embossed it with a favourite retired Stampin' Up! embossing folder called "Beautiful Baroque".

The three flowers are also from the Delightful Wishes stamp set.  The base flower is in Pirouette Pink and the darker cardstock is Pretty in Pink.  These two colours really compliment each other.   In this photo you can see that I've stacked the "wishing" die cuts to give a bit more substance to the die cut.
