Cling Stamps - A Change You're Going to Love

Hi stampers. Yesterday I introduced you to the new Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-bration flyer and I hope you've had a chance to explore them.

If you did, did you check out the exciting news and "Introduction to Cling Stamps" on page 3 of the Occasions Catalogue? If you're like me you probably looked at the awesome samples on that page and breezed right by the note.

What's All the Hype About?
  • Cling Stamps are now available for purchase with the release of the Occasions Catalogue!
  • Stampin’ Up!’s classic red rubber stamps are great for detailed imagery.
  • No more frustration with clear blocks....the new Stampin' Up! Cling Stamp Sets come with adhesive image labels that will cling like crazy to clear blocks or Stamparatus plates  each time you use them.
  • Unfortunately for those who love Wood Blocks you'll see these phased out in the 2019/20 Annual and Occasions catalogues, with the exception of the large background stamps.

/Great information. I already got one of the new cling stamp sets and found it sticks just as well to my fingernails as it does to the stamp, so beware of this. Thanks for the video = I couldn't decipher the instructions in the stamp case. Changes like this are always a great learning experience!

Thanks Miss Emilie for taking the time to comment on the cling stamp post. It's true these cling stamps are super sticky and will really stick to anything. Be extra careful removing them from your blocks so you don't tear the foam away from the rubber stamp. I used my spatula on my Stampin' Up! "Take Your Pick" tool, to loosen the grip before removing the stamp.

Thanks Penny, I have the Take Your Pick tool but never thought to use the spatula end for this! Thanks so much for sharing your great ideas!

Glad that little tip will work for you Miss Emillie. Remember to just use the spatula as a lever to raise an edge and the grasp the stamp and remove.
