One For the Guys

Hi everyone.  Father's Day is just around the corner and I've been busy making a variety of Father's Day cards showcasing one of the masculine stamp sets from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue called ""He's All That".

This 11-piece red rubber cling stamp set is definitely going to be a keeper.  These vintage images and versatile greetings are perfect for Father's Day, birthdays, and just because.

Product #159071.  STAMP SET ONLY

Product # 159079 THE BUNDLE

Here's My Card:

I wanted a bold layered look so the Freshly Made Sketch #537 was the perfect design.  Here's a look at the FMS sketch:

I used the "He's The Man" #159068 designer series paper for my card front layers and it really steals the show. In fact, while I had intended to do more stamping on this card, but the dsp pulled it together very quickly. I also used the Rustic Metallic Adhesive backed dots #159082 to add some manly glam.

I really enjoyed using the label dies from the set.  For the inside of the card I stamped the image on Whisper White and cut it out with the label die.  I then cut out a second label using the rectangular die and mounted the two together.

This Designer Paper coordinates so well and there is absolutely no waste.  And if you don't have the stamp set to add a sentiment, no worries as there are two pages of labels including the one in the picture that can be applied.  The bow tie was added with dimensionals to the base of the words and a small gem was added to the center.

Well that's it for today.  Thanks so much for dropping by.  I hope you enjoyed this card.

Happy Stamping!
