Ever since the Occasions Mini Catalogue launched on January 4th, I've been head over heels in love with the Create a Cupcake Punch and matching Stamp set featured on page 22 of the catalogue. I knew the Create a Cupcake Stamp set would be the perfect stamp set to use for birthday cards because it's so cute and cupcakes are so in vogue right now! With March being one of the biggest birthday months for all my girlfriends, I got busy yesterday crafting cupcake birthday cards. The following are a sampling of my cards inside and out. Hope you enjoy them.
You might also recognize the DSP I've used for some of the cards. Although the striped and large polka dot designed papers are from the glittery designer series paper called Candy Cane Christmas that was featured in the Holiday Mini Catalogue (2010), they work with the cupcake theme too. If you're interested in making any or all of these cards let me know (pennyhanuszak@telus.net). I will be holding a card class in April that will feature this punch and stamp set.

Oh Penny - said in pain - I am groaning! I was committed to not buy this punch - I LOVE THESE CARDS and the purse card is my downfall. Oy! Sigh! Thanks for blessing my day and being one of m enablers! :))))
Penny, these are just too cool for words. I love them, and I don't know when you would be planning your class in April, but I would love to attend. I love the paper and the colors. They worked well for you. Love ya!

Penny, each and every one of your cupcakes are adorable! I really like all of the fun details you added to each one. Ohhh, and you might just make me bust out that coveted DSP I am hoarding, too. And that purse card...can I just saw "Awwwww!"!! I HAVE to try that out soon. Thanks for the fun inspiration! :)
Love these cards, Penny. You've inspired me to get my punch out and start using it (I'm embarrassed to admit that I've had it for 2 months and haven't punched a single piece of paper with it)!!
Love the idea of using the cupcake punch for purses...super cute card! And, I also love that you used the Candy Cane Christmas paper to make birthday cards. The stripes are perfect. Love cupcakes...I just posted a few cards myself! Thanks for sharing!
