Home for the Holidays - October Paper Pumpkin Kit

Christmas is fast approaching, and I'm almost ready.  How about you?  Are your cards in the mail?  Did you make tags this year?

I made a lot of different Christmas cards again this year, using different stamp sets and products, but the ones I really enjoyed making were from the October Paper Pumpkin kit - Home for the Holidays.  Last year's Paper Pumpkin winter kits were so awesome, I wasn't sure if they could top them this year, but I was sooooo wrong!

The Home for the Holidays kit came with enough card fronts, card bases, labels, envelopes, ink, dimensionals, glue dots, and sparkle glue to make at nine cards.  It also had this cute little stamp set which I really love.

By cutting apart the card fonts and envelopes I was able to stretch the supplies so I actually made 24 cards and still have a couple of odds and ends left over.

I also combined a refill package called Warm Wishes from the November Paper Pumpkin kit with left over products from the Home For the Holidays kit to make twenty more cards.  Paper Pumpkin monthly subscribers can purchase refills for their favourite kits while supplies last at a very reasonable price.

Here are some additional pictures of cards I made:

I like to change up the bases and use my coloured cardstocks as they have a little more firmness than the card backers in the paper pumpkin kit.  I used Boho Bluem Lemon Lolly and Sweet Sorbet cardstocks for my bases. I also combined different Christmas themed designer papers like the One Horse Open Sleigh paper.  What fun to mix and match.

Happy Stamping!
