Get Well Wishes - FMS #641

Summer has finally arrived and while the saying "careful what you wish for" comes to mind when the high temps kick into gear, we're still enjoying the sunshine and blue skies.

Here's My Card:

I wanted to send a card to my brother-in-law to cheer him up and let him know we were thinking of him, but when I checked my card supplies I realized I was out of get well cards. It's time to replenish my stock.

I don't have any current Stampin' Up! get well stamps, but after a search of my retired ones I found one called "Wellness Wishes", that had small images that are perfect for making some plain and simple get well cards.

For my layout I chose this week's sketch challenge #643 by Freshly Made Sketches. It actually was perfect for showcasing the small stamps in this set. The Designer Series Paper is one of the new InColors called Peach Pie.

Supplies Used:

Stamp Set:

Wellness Wishes by Stampin' Up! (retired)

Ink:

Momento Tuxedo Black

Blends:

  • Crumb Cake (Light & Dark)
  • Peach Pie (new in color) (L&D)
  • Petal Pink - L
  • Flirty Flamingo - L
  • Bronze
  • Real Red - L
  • Pool Party - L
Dies:
  • Perennial Postage #162607
  • Layered Squares (Retired)
Accessories:
  • Dimensionals
  • Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins 163484
  • Basic 3 D Embossing Folder (R) 1 of 3 folders featuring hatched design

Oh my, what fun little stamps.  I love the bandaids and contemplated putting little punched out hearts in the center, but then I just couldn't cover up those sweet little faces.  The Shiny Sequins are absolutely gorgeous and add a little pop of glam to this card.

Thanks for popping by and seeing today's card.

HAPPY STAMPING!
