It's taken me a little while to get around to posting on my blog, as I've had an up and down couple of months in this new year. But I'm getting back into the swing again now and wanted to share something very important to me.
Sometimes you have the pleasure of meeting and getting to know someone who lives larger than life and experiences all the world has to offer. I was so fortunate to have had that experience and able to call this little gal one of my good friends.
Gerry and her precious baby dog Crystal lived in our park in Palm Springs, and many is the evening we sat on her porch enjoying the sunset and chatting. Gerry loved life to the fullest! She was one of those salty old gals who could shock the pants off a sailor, and yet be sweet and gentle to those she knew best. She was truly genuine. She loved people and was often the life of the party enjoying dancing and a good stiff drink of vodka and orange. Gerry was always there to help out and lend a hand for those who needed more. Gerry lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in late January, just before her 72nd birthday. I was so fortunate to have been able to be share her magic right to the end and will always think of her with a smile and remember her many fabulous stories. Goodbye Gerry till we meet again.
This is my little creative get away spot in a very hectic world. I love to stamp, meet other stampers and share my inspirations. So come and, sit for a while, explore my site and leave a comment when you can.
