Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #648

 Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #648

Here's a fun sketch that involves a little bit of calculation to get things right but is fun to do.  This challenge ends on Sunday September 28, so don't delay, if you want to submit your work of art.

HERE'S MY CARD:

I decided to make a masculine birthday card with this design.  Guys seem to like cards with depth and outdoorsy  type of scenes.  So this card fit the bill in every way.

  2. What a fabulous masculine card! I don't keep up with Paper Pumpkin much, so seeing this is a great treat! Those mountains and trees are perfect for the sketch! Thanks for participating in the Atlantic Hearts challenge this week!

    1. Thanks so much LeAnne. This Paper Pumpkin kit is simply amazing with all it's layers and Canadiana style artwork. I also love the masculine colour mix. It worked well with the sketch.

  3. A really great card, Penny! The layered scenery is nicely handled with the chopped rectangles. So glad you shared this card with us at AHSC this week. Cheers, Jolanda - DT (PS: I may be case-ing this one).

    1. Case-away Jolanda. I love making masculine cards, so this one sort of ticked all the boxes in terms of the sketch layout. Loved the images from this Paper Pumpkin kit, but I can think of several other 6X6 DSP packs from Stampin' Up! that would work equally well.

    1. I never thought about that, but now it does look like a window scene. Love that concept. Thanks for your comment.

    1. Thanks Brandi. Loved the sketch as it made me go out of my comfort zone to do multiple layers and spacing. Didn't get it quite right, but will the next time around.
